Who Are We?

Angel Flight West is a Volunteer Pilot Organization (VPO) which assists with air transportation wherever there is a human need. We have transported patients to hospitals, family to loved ones in need, donor tissue, seeing eye dogs, and people in need of transportation in the western third of the United States.

The Northern California Wing of Angel Flight West is a subgroup of volunteer pilots belonging to Angel Flight West.

Mission Orientation

If you are a new Angel Flight member and you wish to fly as a PIC on Angel Flight missions, you will need to have a Mission Orientation (you will receive a package of information after your application has been processed, then you can schedule your mission orientation).

The mission orientation is a walk-through of a sample Angel Flight mission, which will help acquaint you with our procedures, and give you a chance to ask some questions about the people we fly.
